Amy joined 重口味SM鈥檚 admissions staff in 2002 and now works with students who attended college elsewhere before finding a home at Wilkes. She enjoys learning about each transfer student鈥檚 individual path and often recommends that students perform informational interviews or, even better, job shadowing so that students can explore their desired career well before they graduate. In 2007, Amy graduated from Wilkes with her Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in business statistics.

She completed a chemistry degree at King鈥檚 College and then worked at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office in Washington, D.C. She tired of city life and moved to Hawaii to teach science to ninth and tenth graders and explore Hawaii鈥檚 beautiful beaches and coral reefs. Returning to northeastern Pennsylvania, she discovered that a career in admissions allowed her to work with young people on a more individual basis.

Amy can be found hiking, birding, camping, meditating, traveling, or writing to one of her 10 pen pals from around the world.

Favorite place on campus: Tracy Kaster鈥檚 office in Breiseth Hall, as that鈥檚 where Ace, the golden retriever, can sometimes be found.

Best college advice for prospective students: Visit all colleges that make your short list.
